A regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS was held on 12 June 2020. The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
AWARDS:
• On conferring the title “Honored Worker of Science” to Academician Fikret Aliyev on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 25 November 2019.
• On awarding Academician Yusif Mammadov the Order of Labor of the 2nd degree on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 25 November 2019.
• On awarding the Corresponding Member of ANAS Aydin Kazimzade the Order of Glory (Shohret) on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 25 November 2019.
• On awarding Academician Adil Garibov the Order of Glory on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 27 March 2020.
• On awarding the State Prize of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of science for 2020 based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22 May.
SCIENTIFIC AND ORGANIZATIONAL ISSUES:
1. About the tasks defined by the ANAS General Assembly on 10 June 2020, for the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences.
2. On the presentation of targeted scientific programs in the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS
3. On the Action Plan related to the implementation of the "ANAS Development Program for 2020–2025."
4. On the proposals of scientific institutions of the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS on the coronavirus pandemic and related problems
5. Memorandum of understanding between the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS and the Institute of Seismology and Atmospheric Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
6. On the program “Development of cell technologies” of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS
7. On the program “Employee performance assessment” of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS.
8. On the exclusion from the dissertation studies of Tamilla Shabanova, a PhD dissertationist of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.
