Information war of youth against the enemy
16.07.2020 / Conferences, assembliesAfter Azerbaijan gained independence, one of the main problems of national security in the country was forming a unified information policy and ensuring security, creating, protecting and managing the national information environment. On April 3, 1998, our country adopted the Law "On Information, Informatization and Information Protection". After the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed the decree "On measures to improve activities in the field of information security", a new stage of a comprehensive strategy of national information security began in our country.
For Azerbaijan, a country that lives in a state of war, information security and non-disclosure of military information that constitutes state secrets are the most important issues and are essential from the point of view of serious damage to national security.
The Karabakh conflict is no longer of regional nature, becoming a global problem. Due to Karabakh's geostrategic position, information plays a very important role in the conflict becoming a threat to the region.
As we know, today the Armenians are waging an information was against Azerbaijan with the support of the diasporas abroad. Organizations influenced by Armenians also continue to form a negative opinion about Azerbaijan in the international community. They even published photographs of the Khojaly genocide in the American press and presented the massacred Azerbaijani citizens as Armenians, calling themselves victims. Hundreds of such facts of Armenian activity can be cited...
At a time when the world is living a pandemic, when people are fighting the virus, Armenians have resorted to military provocation, violating the ceasefire, in order to seize positions in the direction of the Tovuz region of the state border. The blood of our brave sons, who prevented the attack of the enemy, was spilled for our land. They reached the top - they died a martyr's death for their Motherland! ...By their actions in the past few days, the Armenians have once again proved to the world that they are an insidious terrorist nation!
Even today, the Armenian media spread false information from the war zones, trying to create negative public opinion against our country and the current conflict. And we, the youth of Azerbaijan, must today unite in solidarity and win this fight, actively participating in the information war against the enemy. Information warfare is mainly fought over the Internet, and the role of the Internet in preventing this war is undeniable. We, the youth, must convey to the world the true voice of Azerbaijan and give an appropriate response to those who conduct anti-Azerbaijani propaganda.
As a result of President Ilham Aliyev's care for youth, young people are active in all areas of reform in Azerbaijan. At this moment, the words of Mr. President come to mind: “We must try and we are trying to make sure our youth grows up with the national spirit. With the national spirit, but also with the spirit of multiculturalism." In our country, ideal conditions have been created for the correct direction of the intellectual activity of our youth and the achievement of success. We, the youth, must take advantage of these conditions and justify the trust placed in us by the President by participating in the social and political life of the republic. This is our civic duty!
We say with confidence that each of our martyrs will be avenged with blood!
