ANAS Women's Council Statement

Since September 27, 2020, the armed forces of Armenia have been shelling civilian settlements from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, as well as the positions of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, using various types of weapons and artillery. There are civilian casualties, including women and children, homes and farms have been severely damaged. Armenia regularly violates the norms and principles of international law, failing to comply with its obligations under international law, as well as the relevant provisions of the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Population in Time of War, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other important documents on human rights.
