Regular general seminar of the Institute of Mathematics was held

A regular general seminar of the Institute of Mathematics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on April 1, 2026.

At the seminar, Professor Veli Gurbanov, DSc in Physics and Mathematics and Chief Researcher of the Laboratory of Intelligent Information-Measuring Systems, made a presentation on "Convergence of spectral expansions in terms of eigenfunctions of the one-dimensional Dirac operator."
The presentation addressed estimating the rate of equiconvergence of the spectral expansion for functions from the Hpα class in terms of the eigenfunctions of a one-dimensional Dirac operator with summable coefficients with the trigonometric expansion, the absolute and uniform convergence of spectral expansions for functions from Wp1 classes, and the estimation of the uniform convergence rate.
At the end, discussions were held on the topic, and questions were answered.
