Representatives of the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy (ANAA) made reports on "LIDAR and the prospects of its practical application in Azerbaijan” at the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences on 14 October 2015. Therefore, the expedient decision was made to prepare a project of the State Program on the "Earthquake LIDAR” with the participation of the ANAA, the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS and the Republican Center of Seismological Service.

In connection with this, a delegation headed by Director of the Research Institute of Transport and Aerospace Problemsof the ANAA Acad. Bahadur Tagiyev visited the Institute of Control Systems. Director of the Institute of Control Systems Acad. Telman Aliev demonstrated the guests the operating principles of the network of seismic-acoustic stations created at the Institute on the basis of the robust noise technologies.
At the meeting, the plan of joint work to draft "The State Program 2016-2019 for Building the System of Monitoring of Seismic Safety of the Azerbaijan Republic (Seismic Safety)” was discussed.
